As a franchise manager, young adults will be given experience in an entrepreneurial role aimed at expanding their real-world management experience and practical knowledge of business protocols. Each of our student managers is closely monitored by our staff of Regional Managers, District Managers, and Head Office Staff. Successful applicants will be required to attend part-time training sessions throughout the school year prior to their first year as a student manager. This position with the transition to full-time hours once the student has completed their exams. Once their first year has been completed, some highly motivated student managers may choose to continue their work into the school year on a part-time basis.

District Managers: Part-Time Summer Positions
District Managers work throughout the summer months to support and guide both new and returning student managers. This position will be filled by a motivated, experienced student manager at the discretion of the Regional Manager. At times, this position will extend into the school to include on-campus recruiting responsibilities.

Head Office Staff
The Head Office of University First Class Painters is located in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The Head Office Positions are designed for a student lifestyle – they are full-time from April through to August and transition to part-time during the school year.
