Vinyl Siding Coating Services

Painting Services for Commercial and Residential Properties

Transform your Nova Scotia home this season with a new exterior look. Our vinyl siding painting services will give your house the upgrade you have been looking for.

For almost 30 years, University First Class Painters have been coating vinyl siding within local Nova Scotia communities.

In recent history, the paint colour selection for vinyl siding was low. Now, new vinyl-safe colours from Dulux and Sherwin Williams can give you a wide range of colours to use for your home.

Matching the existing colour of your vinyl siding or using lighter colours can now coexist with a darker range of paint colours. Before the introduction of vinyl-safe colours, darker colours posed a risk to siding durability. The darker shades would attract harmful UV rays to heat up, warp and damage the siding of your home.

Thanks to our friends at Dulux and Sherwin Williams, vinyl safe paint will put your worries aside.

At University First Class Painters, we take pride in our work by using only the best products for our clients.

What colours are available?

Dulux: https://www.dulux.ca/pro/colour/sidingsafe-technology

Sherwin Williams: https://www.sherwin-williams.com/homeowners/color/find-and-explore-colors/paint-colors-by-collection/vinylsafe-colors-for-vinyl-siding

THE PROCESS:

  1. We will power wash the exterior prior to paint application.
  2. Using a brush & roller or sprayer technique, we will use two coats of satin to the surface.
  3. The method of application depends on the conditions that exist, both methods have amazing results.

FAQs:

Q1: What if my vinyl siding is damaged, can I still get it painted?

We recommend that all necessary repairs to the vinyl siding are done prior to our arrival.

Q2: How long will the vinyl coating last?

It can last as long as your siding for over 30 years. As with any other type of paint, fading occurs and can require a fresh application every decade.

Q3: What vinyl-safe paint do you recommend for vinyl siding?

Many paint manufacturers carry their own vinyl-safe paint but we love using Dulux Diamond Satin and Sherwin Williams’ Resilience line for painting vinyl siding.
